This section is intended for independent service providers who publish listings on the Locbay platform. Locbay acts solely as an intermediary platform and does not provide services, process payments between users, or resolve disputes.

Account and Registration

How do I register and publish my first listing?
To publish a listing, you must create a Service Provider account on the Platform. During registration, you will be asked to provide basic business or personal details, service categories, and service areas. Once submitted, your listing is reviewed for compliance with the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy before publication.
What information must I provide in my profile?
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your name or business name, contact details, service areas, and any legally required business or tax information. You are responsible for ensuring that your profile and listings remain accurate at all times.

Listings Management

Are listings reviewed before publication?
Yes. Listings are reviewed to ensure compliance with the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Locbay reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove listings that violate these rules, subject to applicable law.
Can I add photos or other content to my listing?
Yes. You may upload relevant images or content that you own or have the right to use. Content must be lawful, accurate, and not infringe third-party rights. Locbay may remove content that violates platform rules.
How long does a listing stay active?
Each listing is active for a fixed period of four (4) weeks from the date of activation, unless removed earlier in accordance with the Terms of Service or applicable law.
What happens if I upgrade my listing?
If you upgrade a listing from a free plan to a paid or upgraded plan, the listing period restarts from the date of the upgrade. Any remaining time from the previous listing period does not carry over.
Can I edit or remove my listing?
Yes. You may edit or remove your listings at any time through your account dashboard. Removed or expired listings may be retained temporarily in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Paid Listing Features and Payments

What are paid listing features?
Paid or upgraded listing features provide enhanced visibility or placement on the Platform. These features relate solely to listing presentation and do not guarantee inquiries, leads, or business results.
Does Locbay take commissions on my services?
No. Locbay does not charge commissions on services and does not process payments between Service Providers and End Users. All service payments are handled directly between users outside the Platform.
Are paid listings refundable?
Fees paid for upgraded listings are non-refundable once the listing has been activated. An exception may apply only in the event of a verified technical error attributable solely to the Platform that prevented the listing from being displayed as intended.

Communication with End Users

Can I include external contact details such as WhatsApp?
Yes. Depending on your selected listing plan, you may include external contact details such as email addresses or third-party messaging services. Any communication conducted outside the Platform occurs directly between you and the End User and is not monitored or controlled by Locbay.

Compliance and Responsibilities

Do I need licences or insurance?
Locbay does not verify licences or insurance. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you comply with all applicable legal, licensing, tax, and consumer protection requirements in the jurisdictions where you offer services.
What happens if my account is suspended?
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. No refunds or credits are provided for unused listing periods following suspension or termination.
